I have been counseling families and individuals of all ages for over 20 years. Since moving to Eugene in 1998, I have worked at Options Counseling Center, The Child Center and Direction Service Counseling Center. I also worked for 7.5 years as a crisis worker and crisis team supervisor at Sacred Heart Medical Center Emergency Department.
I specialize in mood disorders and PTSD primarily utilizing a person-centered, cognitive behavioral and brief solution-focused therapy approach. I believe in interacting with each unique individual I meet with an open mind, respect and compassion.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. My license number is C2726. I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures and foods. I recently spent 10 months on sabbatical in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I love beaches, swimming, snorkeling and spending time with my teenage daughters.
