Important Notice Regarding COVID-19 and UO Student Health Benefits Plan

UO SHBP will cover medically necessary COVID-19 diagnostic testing, telemedicine, and diagnosis-related visits at no cost* for the 2020–21 plan year.

*The plan does not cover COVID-19 testing for screening purposes.

COVID-19 vaccine will be covered at 100 percent when received through an in-network provider. For the duration of the national emergency declaration, out-of-network providers will be paid at the in-network benefit (100 percent) up to the allowed amount.

Note: In-network providers accept the fee allowance as payment in full. Out-of-network providers are allowed to balance bill any remaining balance that this plan did not cover, and this amount is not counted toward the out-of-network, out-of-pocket limit. Please see "Allowable Fee" in the definitions section of the plan document.

UO SHBP members are encouraged to seek care with in-network providers to maximize the benefits of the plan. To find an in-network provider, use the myPacificSource app, search the PacificSource website, or call PacificSource at 855-274-9814. 

In addition to adding coverage for COVID-19 testing, UO SHBP will allow a one-time early refill for prescription drugs. All applicable deductibles, co-pays, and/or co-insurance will apply.
