Faculty and Staff Wellness Ambassadors Wanted

Are you interested in health and wellness? Are you someone who thinks about creating a healthier office environment for you and your coworkers? If so, join us as a volunteer Duck Nest Wellness Ambassador!

The University Health Center’s Duck Nest Wellness Center is starting a new Wellness Ambassador program specifically for UO faculty and staff members. The Wellness Ambassador program aims to empower staff and faculty to become champions of wellness and agents of change within the workplace.

Wellness Ambassadors share their passion for work-life balance and self-care with faculty and staff on campus by volunteering to:

  • Give interactive presentations
  • Create wellness opportunities within their own units
  • Connect staff and faculty to UO wellness resources, including the Duck Nest

As a volunteer Wellness Ambassador, you’ll commit just 1-2 hours a month and will be part of a connected, engaged cohort of 10-15 other volunteers across campus. Your work will be supported by Duck Nest partners and staff.

Faculty and staff members who are interested in the opportunity can learn more about the program information and apply online. Applications are due by August 16 at 5:00 p.m.

For questions or more information, contact Kate Stoysich in the Duck Nest at kates@uoregon.edu or 541-346-9118.
