(January 6, 2025) Margaret Trout, RN, MBA, has joined the University of Oregon as associate vice president of Student Life and executive director of University Health Services. Margaret holds an MBA from Willamette University and a BS in nursing from the University of Portland, bringing nearly twenty-five years of healthcare leadership experience to the University of Oregon. Margaret’s previous roles at the University of California, Davis; the University of Portland, and other higher education institutions have demonstrated her ability to strategically lead complex healthcare organizations.

Margaret brings a wealth of experience as both an administrator and a nurse, which enables her to maintain a broad perspective while focusing on our primary goal: providing excellent care and support to each student, patient, and client.
