Sports Medicine Clinic

We are all athletes. Musculoskeletal (muscles, bones, joints, soft tissue) complaints account for 10–15 percent of all visits to primary care physicians, and 70 percent of all new musculoskeletal injuries are treated by primary care physicians. Sports medicine specialists are medical doctors who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of exercise-related injuries and illness.

University Health Services’ newly expanded sports medicine clinic treats UO students with recent musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries following evidenced-based medical guidelines and using state-of-the art diagnostic equipment.

Whether you’ve injured yourself playing a sport or in the process of your daily life, we are here to help.

Check out our menu links for details on the types of conditions we treat and the treatments available to you, right on campus.
