Mental Wellness

Everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive. We recognize that wellness looks different for everyone and requires inclusive, equitable approaches. Wellness is informed by cultural, familial, and societal factors that contribute to unique definitions of wellness across groups of people. We acknowledge that wellness solutions are not equally beneficial and that health disparities require inclusive solutions. We believe social connection is essential to mental well-being and center it in our work.

What We Do

Mental well-being supports students who are interested in strengthening their mental health, building social connections, and learning about mental health resources available on campus. Through peer-led programs, workshops, and outreach, we aim to create welcoming spaces where students can learn, connect, and find support.

We work to make our programs accessible by using high-contrast visuals, screen reader-friendly materials, and offering different seating options at in-person events. We also meet students where they are by bringing programs into classrooms, student organizations, and other campus spaces. Whether you're new to mental well-being topics or looking to deepen your understanding, we tailor our content to fit the needs and experiences of each audience.

By partnering with campus departments, student groups, and identity-based communities, we connect with students across a variety of experiences and backgrounds. Through presentations, tabling events, and outreach in locations across campus, we strive to ensure that students can access mental health information, resources, and opportunities for connection wherever they are.
