A Message from the Executive Director of University Health Services
On behalf of University Health Services, I would like to welcome you to the summer term! I know many of you reside in Eugene for the summer, and others have left until the fall term. I want you to know that University Health Services is here for you, no matter where you are.
University Health Services is providing comprehensive telemedicine and teletherapy as well as in-person services. Please visit health.uoregon.edu for information on how to schedule an appointment. People are welcome into UHS for healthcare services or to drop by to get a question answered. We are also happy to help students upload vaccine and insurance information in our office. Please don’t hesitate to drop by, we are here for you.
In Oregon there are no longer mask or social distancing requirements for those who are fully vaccinated. However, healthcare offices must continue to maintain these safety protocols. People coming into UHS will be asked screening questions. We will also require anyone in the building to wear a mask and to continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines. We appreciate your help to adhere to these state requirements.
UHS highly encourages people to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The vaccines are considered by the CDC to be safe and effective. The COVID-19 vaccine is readily available at local pharmacies, and Lane County Public Health (LCPH) also offers access to vaccine clinics.
I wish you a healthy, safe, and enjoyable summer.
Debra Beck, RN, MBA
Assistant Vice President, Student Services and Enrollment Management
