Welcome, New Students!
UHS welcomes new students to the University of Oregon. Use the checklist below to ensure a smooth path to accessing health and mental health services.
- Complete forms on myUOHealth.
- Check your health insurance to make sure it works at UHS and in Eugene.
- Make an appointment at UHS to establish care or check in regarding a pre-existing condition.
- Upload immunization requirements or file an exemption.
- Complete the tuberculosis risk assessment.
- Optional: Enroll in the Student Health Benefits Plan (during open enrollment dates only).
Be sure to create a personal care kit to bring with you from home. Include a thermometer, acetaminophen and/or ibuprofen, adhesive bandages, antibiotic ointment, cough drops, and anything else you need and value when you’re not feeling well. If you forget something, don't worry—the UHS pharmacy has a wide selection of over-the-counter medicines and first-aid supplies.

Use the myUOHealth Portal to schedule appointments, complete required and other forms, upload vaccine information and records, upload insurance, receive secure messages, receive educational materials, print statements, request a COVID-19 excemption and much more!
